We are seeking an Assistant Director of Human Resources to become a part of our client's team! You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, and local, state and federal employment regulations and requirements. This is a direct hire opportunity.
Implement company culture, values and policies
Develop workforce strategies, to recruit and develop qualified candidates
Coordinate events focused on employee recognition and dedication
Advocate for employee retention and development
Oversee data entry and maintenance of employee records
Participate in the investigation and guidance for disciplinary actions
Collaborate with organizational partners as appropriate, including but not limited to Director of Human Resources, Corporate Counsel, HR Business Partners, other department heads, managers, etc.
Administer personnel and employee relations programs in accordance with company policies and procedures; ensures compliance with regulatory requirements including Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and American Disabilities Act as Amended (ADAAA) to ensure the uniform and equitable treatment employees
Provide coaching and advice to supervisors and up and all other assigned employees
Develop programs around culture, diversity and inclusion
7-10 years previous experience in Human Resources
3-5 years of HR Management
Manage a team of at least 4 people: exempt and nonexempt employees
Experience in conflict resolution
Fundamental knowledge of labor and employment laws
Ability to build rapport with all employees
Strong leadership qualities
PHR and/or SPHR preferred
