The Human Resources Manager supports and collaborates with the Human Resources Director to develop, maintain, and administer effective and efficient programs and processes to manage human capital. HRIS, payroll and benefits processes and administration are led by the HR Manager.
The Human Resources Manager works with the Human Resources Director on recruiting, employee relations, organization development, performance management, and compensation to help maximize employee productivity, managerial effectiveness, and administrative ease.
Develop and maintain HRIS platform, human resources processes, policies and practices to support the organization’s plan and mission and ensure compliance to legal requirements
Partner with HR Director and Hiring Managers to recruit, interview and select candidates
Provide current employees with information about benefits and payroll system
Advise staff and managers on organization policy matters for leaves of absence, and FMLA
Plan and conduct new employee orientation in collaboration with HR Director
Support HR Director in serving as a conduit between management and employees by handling questions and by interpreting and applying CFT’s employment guidelines and policies
Develop and facilitate training initiatives to improve leadership effectiveness and employee development in collaboration with HR Director
Communicate and collaborate with HR consultants, insurance brokers, carriers, and outside sources
Keep current on applicable employment compliance requirements and coordinate with HR Director to implement changes as needed
Manage operations of HR in the absence of the HR Director
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or related experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in Human Resources
PHR or SPHR preferred
High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Expert knowledge and proficiency of HRIS and Performance Management platforms

Effective database management and recordkeeping skills (ADP preferred)
Demonstrated ability to excel both independently and as a team member in a lively, collaborative environment
Excellent written and verbal communications skills with a demonstrated ability to make difficult concepts easy to understand
