About the Position: This role is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level, working closely with the controller and CEO. There is involvement in the broad range of functional HR areas including but not limited to benefits, on-boarding, policy implementation, training, and safety.
Skills/requirements: Perform HR duties including but not limited to
New employee on boarding
Assist in resolving employee issues
Maintaining all employee records
Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment and benefit laws and regulations
Assist plant managers with the implementation of the Company’s safety program
Process bi-weekly payroll
Assist with the administration of the 401(k) plan
Recommend new policies, approaches, and procedures
Maintaining and revising the company’s handbook on policies and procedures
Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 3 years of HR experience
Must speak and write English and Spanish
Excellent computer skills
Ability to work with and relate to employees at all levels of the company
Ability to act with integrity and handle confidential information in a professional manner
Occasional travel to plants located in Wray, Colorado and Atlanta, Georgia (less than 10%).
The company is currently located in Carrollton, but will be relocating to McKinney by year-end.
