Alpha Testing is looking for a Human Resources Professional to join our team and lead the HR department!
The Director of Human Resources partners closely with the Executive team to create and support the company’s strategy. Responsible for managing and overseeing all recruitment, hiring, benefits, training, employee relations, payroll, safety, WC claims, and LOAs (including but not limited to FMLAs). This is a “hands on” role that partners with operations, facilitates, and acts as a change agent to support company’s growth.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

_80_% Human Resources functions
Establishes human resources objectives in line with organizational objectives.
Direct and ensure the efficient administration and management of the Human Resources function
Foster a positive culture of “Service” within the department to include leading by example and providing guidance and support to all management and hourly team members
Implements human resources strategies for improving and maintaining accountability on talent acquisition, staffing, employment processing, compensation, health and welfare benefits, training and development, records management, safety and health, succession planning, employee relations and retention, AA/EEO compliance, and labor relations.
Supervises the direction and initiatives of the Safety Manager, supports his role, and works closely to achieve a “culture of safety.”
Supervises Payroll and Benefits functions for compliance, fair and consistent practices, and oversees annual open enrollment meetings. Highly involved with the PR, Benefits, ACA, PTO, ATS, and Docs & Task modules in Paycom.
Accomplishes special projects by identifying and clarifying issues and priorities communicating and coordinating requirements; expediting fulfillment; evaluating accomplishments and courses of action.
Provides human resources advice, counsels, and coaches supervisors and managers as well as guide executive team through best practices by writing and updating policies, procedures, and guidelines that corroborate the company’s values.
Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislations; anticipating legislations; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
Stays abreast of HR knowledge by participating in conferences and educational opportunities, reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; and participating in professional organizations.
_20_% Travel to other locations
Support all Alpha locations (Fort Worth, Houston, San Antonio, and Dallas).
Execute training and implement all initiatives in all locations consistent with Alpha’s vision.
Supervises a team of four (Safety Manager, Payroll & Benefits Specialist, HR Admin. and Receptionist).
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite of programs MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
· Above average communication skills, ability to work effectively with both employees and managers
· Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks
· Excellent customer service skills
· Ability to maintain the highly confidential nature of human resources work.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor’s degree required. MBA desired.
· SPHR or SHRM-SPC highly preferred
· 10+ years in Human Resource management in a generalist role with progressive experience required.
