Responsible for administration of staff member benefits and compensation.
Provides special guidance and assistance to all locations on various staff member benefit plans and compensation matters.
Surveys industry and/or community to determine hospital’s competitive position in total rewards. Develops, recommends and installs approved, new or modified plans and staff member benefits policies and oversees administration of existing plans.
Assists in developing cost control procedures to assure maximum coverage at the least possible cost to hospital and staff member.
Analyzes compensation to ensure the hospital is externally competitive and internally equitable.
Education / Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree and five years of experience in benefits administration, OR a Master’s degree in human resource management and four years of experience in benefits administration required.
Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) or SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) strongly desired.
