We are seeking a Benefits Analyst to join the HR Team!
This position is responsible for assisting in the administration of company benefit programs, providing services to the employees, and the monthly insurance billings for fully-insured and self-insured benefit plans.
Provide consultative service to employees regarding employee benefits including eligibility, elections, changes, questions and escalated benefit issues.
Assist in preparation and execution of annual open enrollment, including testing the electronic enrollment system, reviewing and updating communication and tracking completion progress.
Ensure the company’s compliance in all benefits related areas including HIPAA, COBRA and the Affordable Care Act Legislation.
COBRA, 401k and LOA administration.
Reconcile and audits monthly billings.
Work with benefit/insurance partners and others to address and resolve billing, enrollment, coverage and other benefit issues.
Act as liaison between HR, vendors and employees to provide support as it relates to benefit policies and procedures.
Provide support through the on-boarding process of new hires by answering questions and conducting benefit orientations.
Conduct the annual open enrollment meetings and annual benefits fair.
Manage the maintenance and storage of employee benefit records and accurate employee data entry in HRIS system and administration of benefits enrollment, retirement and other transactions.
Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
3 years of experience with Benefits planning and administration.
Prior experience in COBRA, ERISA, Retirement, 401k preferred.
Experience using HRIS systems.
