In 1970, the aerobics concept moved from the printed page to bricks and mortar with the opening of Cooper Aerobics Center in Dallas. Founded by Kenneth H. Cooper, M.D., M.P.H., he first created The Cooper Institute to establish his work in research and science. That philosophy is the foundation on which every business has been built and still holds true today.
Forty years later, Dr. Cooper and... his son, Tyler Cooper, M.D., M.P.H., have expanded their healthy-living mission to create the Cooper Aerobics corporation and its eight health and wellness companies that provide a variety of products and services for individuals and corporations.
