Harmon is looking for Human Resource Business Partner to be located at any one of our three manufacturing locations. The HR Business Partner is responsible for proactively leading both strategic and tactical HR support for the manufacturing & engineering teams at Harmon. This role will partner with the leaders and must understand the business beyond the HR function, influence the overall operations and contribute to successful business outcomes. The HRBP will act as change agent; assess and anticipate HR-related needs and proactively communicate needs with Harmon Corporate HR and manufacturing/engineering leadership teams. HRBP will identify and influence new ways for HR to support the business and manufacturing strategies. This role will serve as a generalist to provide operational HR counsel, coaching, talent acquisition and employee relations for example.
This position will be responsible for:
Business Results- facilitates business change and performance across the manufacturing group by partnering with manufacturing leaders to deliver on effective people strategies.
Recruitment and Talent Acquisition-develops the talent acquisition strategy for manufacturing hourly positions and is responsible for the hiring process, including sourcing, selection, and onboarding/orientation for manufacturing hourly positions
Organization Capability- partners with manufacturing/engineering leaders to understand current and future skill and capability needs.
Employee Relations- be the primary contact for manufacturing/engineering leaders and employees.
Performance Management- effectively administers the performance management process in collaboration with Harmon Human Resources
A qualified candidate would:
Have a Bachelor’s degree, Organizational Development, Human Resources, Psychology, Business, etc
Have a minimum of five years relevant generalist experience
Strong Technical experience with a time and attendance and HRIS system
Strong process orientation. CI experience preferred.
