The YMCA of Metropolitan Dallas is taking applications for a full time Recruiter to join our Human Resources Department to help us attract and hire quality team members. This is a phenomenal opportunity for someone that enjoys finding, engaging, and qualifying a large pool of candidates to fill positions at our 80+ afterschool sites, 20+ summer camps, and other positions in the Dallas Metroplex. The person in this position will report to the Director of HR and support the hiring needs of our School Age Services. This will be done by actively posting and sourcing through online job boards, social media, our Applicant Tracking System (Kronos), and taking the lead for editing our web pages which includes updating job descriptions, program photos, staff quotes, benefits, and other relevant information. You will partner closely with the Director of Human Resources, Marketing, School Age Services, and other team members to create innovative marketing campaigns that will cast a wide net and attract top talent for a high volume of positions. The Recruiter will deliver an awesome candidate experience and work with hiring managers to set up phone and face-to-face interviews, complete reference checks, and identify opportunities for improving candidate experience and recruiting efficiency. The Recruiter will also coordinate multiple schedules, update job posts on several job boards, social media, and actively source passive candidates on job boards and schools. This will be done by phone, email, and through mass text campaigns. Working closely with the candidates, the Recruiter will keep the time-to-hire at a minimum and create dashboards and spreadsheets. Additional responsibilities include the coordination of 2+ career events for current and potential staff as well as overseeing the Intern Program for all branches. In addition, you would support the mission of the YMCA of Metropolitan Dallas by promoting the values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibly and promote mental and physical well-being for children and families.
High School Diploma or equivalent
2+ years work related experience as a sourcing expert using search requirements from hiring managers, team members, and job descriptions.
Experience with the following systems:
Expert in Applicant Tracking System
Proficient with Microsoft word and excel
Web updates and editing
Text Recruit Platform
Experience categorizing resume's and conducting phone screens for a high volume of hiring is required.
Experience with in-person interviews preferred, not required.
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple functions and tasks and manage time efficiently.
Professional communication skills (written, verbal), customer service skills, and the ability to represent the YMCA of Metropolitan Dallas accordingly. Should be very comfortable making calls.
Maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times.
Ability to build partnerships with managers, interviewers, and team members to facilitate hiring decisions that meet our high talent bar.
Proven ability to take initiative and contribute in a high-paced, changing work environment.
Self-directed, detail-oriented, creative problem solver with a desire to contribute to the organization's reputation and success.
Knowledge of Texas Childcare licensing regulations helpful but not required.
