Provides clerical support including filing, copying, scanning documents, and phone support; prepares mass mailings; generates correspondence; maintains supply of new hire and benefits literature.
Other Duties: Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or similar, with a human resources concentration and 1-2 years of experience in a recruitment role OR an Associate’s Degree and any equivalent combination of training and experience, which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
Licenses and Certifications: Valid Texas Driver’s License and clear driving record
Knowledge and Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of and experience in current recruiting trends, including Internet recruiting.
A general understanding of State and Federal employment regulations, basic employment laws and EEOC practices preferred.
Knowledge of human resources processes and best practices.
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, Outlook, as well as Internet research experience.
Skilled and experienced with applicant tracking systems and pre-employment testing software.
Understands the best practices and strategies for implementing testing, and the legal issues relating to testing.
Detail oriented and possesses the ability to problem solve, multi-task and work in a team environment with a strong commitment to excellence in the delivery of quality HR services to the organization.
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing; excellent spelling, grammar, editing and high level of proofing skills.
Ability to raise issues proactively and in a timely manner.
Ability to treat confidential information with professionalism and discretion required.
Developed sense of professionalism in appearance and in action.
A strong customer service orientation is also essential.
