This position provides learning management system (LMS) administration, report creation, system maintenance, and ongoing training and support for end users. The LMS administrator will support learning technology efforts, system upgrades, and enhancements. This role will support learning administration and operations as needed. This role will report to the supervisor or leader or L&TD.
Oversee administration and operations of learning management system including course materials, user administration, and training
Collaborate with learning department leader to ensure system is optimized, accurate reports are generated, and features/functions are utilized
Consult and partner with learning management system users to understand needs and requirements, and translate them into recommendations for the best user experience
Partner with IT, HRIS, and LMS vendor as needed to support system integration and technical aspects of platform
Document system functionality via job aids, videos, or other training modalities
Determine process improvement opportunities
Train new LMS admins and instructors on system functionality as needed
Primary point of contact for LMS and 3rd party content vendors
Upload and maintain learning management system self-directed content including eLearning courses, videos, documents, etc.
Respond to learning management system questions from end users and other system administrators
Create, upload and maintain training surveys
Create standard and adhoc reports on a regular basis, and check for quality and accuracy of reports
Recommend content policies and best practices
Implement new learning technology as assigned, and ensure it fits within our learning ecosystem
Schedule workshops as needed
Reserve training rooms when necessary
Manage training materials orders
Administer databases as needed
Ensure governance of system and updates to support the business needs and remain compliant
