Children's Health System of Texas, based in Dallas, has partnered with WittKieffer to seek an experienced and dynamic leader to join one of the country’s premier independent children’s health systems as its Senior Vice President, Talent Management. For over 100 years, Children's Health has served the children and families of North Texas. It is the eighth largest pediatric healthcare provider in the nation with $1.7 billion in total operating revenues and approximately 8,000 employees dedicated to making life better for children. Children's Health is the only academically-affiliated pediatric system in the region: it serves as the primary pediatric teaching facility for the University of Texas Southwestern and is recognized for quality care in every specialty, with national rankings in all 10 pediatric specialties by?U.S. News & World Report. The SVP, Talent Management is a newly-created position that will lead a team of professionals responsible for delivering a talent management framework related to employment branding, talent acquisition, diversity, inclusion, workforce development, talent onboarding, performance management, talent review, succession planning and learning and development programs. As a key leader within the Human Resources Leadership Institute (HRLI) division, the SVP, Talent Management will integrate and align the talent management function; ensure standardization of processes; and leverage leading-edge practices, tools, technology and systems to drive quality talent management programs.
The SVP, Talent Management will report to the Executive Vice President, Chief Human Resources Officer. This individual will lead a team of 90 employees and have oversight of a $9.5 million budget. Children's Health seeks a dynamic, collaborative, energetic and seasoned professional with extensive talent management leadership experience—ideally in sizable general industry organizations—who appreciates the unique needs of a world-class, university-affiliated children’s health system and embodies the empathetic culture of a pediatric healthcare institution.
