ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a Talent Management Specialist, you will serve as a subject matter expert in LII’s Talent Management programs such as performance management, career development, etc. This includes partnering with all associated HR and vendor partners to support these programs through systems support and data analysis.

This position will serve a critical role in partnering with the LII Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) team in support of ongoing talent development projects/processes.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

• Provide feedback and expertise regarding design, implementation, and functionality of TD systems and processes. Disciplines include learning and development, performance management, workforce analytics, best practices, and related policies.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors on TD systems-related projects and initiatives and drive best practices regarding systems functionality, tools, and processes
• Function as day-to-day Performance Management System support resource for users—providing direct troubleshooting expertise and guidance
• Provide detailed analytics and reporting of key metrics to support ongoing LII performance management and learning and development processes
• In collaboration with key stakeholders, lead the design, development, and deployment of training and quick reference material for LII TD systems
• Partner with HRIS team to configure, test, and launch performance management system forms in support of annual LII performance management process
• Partner with Communications and Compensation teams to create, launch, and administer annual performance management communications plan
• Assist with system administration, data analysis/reporting for employee engagement, lifecycle, and ad hoc surveys
• Other duties as assigned

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: 

• Requires a bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• At least 2 years of experience in talent management. Experience in administration of an annual performance management process preferred.
• Strong analytical skills are required
• Working knowledge of an HR system of record (SAP, etc.) is preferred
• Advanced MS Office skills including: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint are required
• Demonstrates interpersonal skills and ability to professionally interact with peers, managers, and executives at all levels of the organization
• Effective time management, organizational, and consulting skills
• Solid presentation and overall communication skills (both verbal and written)
• Ability to work autonomously and to deal with ambiguity
• Highly organized, able to wear multiple hats, and accomplish a multitude of tasks in fast-moving environment
• Exceptional customer service focus
