Our client base comprises small to mid-sized non-profit and for-profit organizations, mostly within the Dallas/Fort Worth area, but we also serve clients throughout the United States and internationally. Due to an influx of clients and growth, we seek an additional full-time HR Professional to join our team.
The ideal candidate can work both independently and collaboratively with our team, delivering personalized service that reflects PPR's dedication to instilling care, trust, and strategic expertise in every interaction. Given our status as a full-service Human Capital Consulting firm, we require a candidate with extensive knowledge across all facets of HR. This position is consultative and strategic as well as tactical. This individual must embody versatility, self-discipline, and the capability to handle diverse responsibilities while showcasing a growth mindset. Additionally, they should exemplify strong proficiency in influence, communication, sound judgment, and systems thinking to offer comprehensive support to our clients. A day in this role's life will encompass strategic initiatives and daily operations.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Acts as a subject matter expert for business leaders on HR-related issues.
Trains under Senior Consultants to understand the unique dynamics of each client.
With an understanding of each client’s unique needs, aligns business objectives with employees and managers to support effective human capital management.
Delivers best-practice knowledge and support in the following areas, as client needs dictate:
Payroll administration, including implementation of new payroll and HRIS technology.
Conducts quarterly and/or annual audits of payroll and HRIS-related items; supports year-end processes, including tax forms, ACA filings, non-discrimination testing, and 5500 filings.
Administration of benefits plans, including communication of benefits, managing open enrollment, enrolling and terminating benefits coverage, and reconciling invoices
Assistance in talent acquisition and recruitment processes
Employee onboarding and training & development initiatives
Advice and counsel to employees and managers on various HR-related topics such as leaves of absence, reasonable accommodations, employee concerns and investigations, and other issues that may arise.
Development and promotion of HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace.
Development and implementation of human resource policies

Continues to nurture internal and external relationships by showing best-in-class client care and strong subject matter expertise. We also call this “selling from the heart,” as this level of client care attracts referrals and supports our growth.
Keeps current with best-practice human resources and recruiting strategies/trends/compliance.
Draws upon own experience in general HR management to implement ideas and solutions for existing clients/projects.
Protects the security of sensitive and confidential matters such as personnel records, employee relations, organizational changes, and all other sensitive data/files.
Exercises individual judgment while working with potential or real troubles on own initiative and brings them to the attention of the leadership team.
Conducts research and gathers data as requested.

Minimum Qualifications/Experience/Education:
Excellent communication skills (written and oral) required.
Demonstrated ability to adapt to rapidly changing business needs.
An above-and-beyond mentality, a keen eye for attention to detail, and solid organizational skills are required.
Superb customer service skills with a passion for delivering excellence.
Proven ability to work independently and be regarded as a key member in previous teams, with a strong sense of accountability.

Ability to handle confidential matters with appropriate discretion.
Education Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required with at least five years of experience within the Human Resources discipline as an HR Generalist: Compliance, Benefits Administration, Payroll, Employee Relations, Talent Management, etc.
SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential preferred or the ability to become certified within the first year of employment.
