Position Summary: The Senior HRIS & Payroll Coordinator must possess excellent organizational skills to ensure all HRIS & Payroll processes are functioning effectively, efficiently and in-line with common objectives. This includes the ability to multitask, as well as prioritizing tasks, categorizing projects, and the documentation of processes. Responsible for all activities necessary for day-to-day administration of the Firm’s payroll for all partners and employees.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
HRIS Project Coordinator
Drives the research and development of HRIS-related projects and programs (onboarding, performance management, applicant tracking, etc.)
Ensures HRIS projects and payroll are delivered on time, within scope and within budget.
Tracks, monitors, and reports on HR program and project progress to ensure successful execution.
Identifies new skill requirements to support the implementation as well as support existing colleagues in adapting to system.
Assesses the impact of the rollout on existing systems and agree on changes with senior stakeholders.
Aligns team activities and efforts to overall achievement of project objectives.
Manages ExponentHR product implementations through all life cycle stages.
Generates process improvement ideas.
Functions as a liaison between the IT, HR, Recruiting, and Attorney Development project teams.
Balances needs of individual projects with daily operational needs of payroll.
Payroll
Knowledgeable in payroll best practices.
Documents and develops written processes and procedures for payroll & HRIS functions.
Acts as a resource for Payroll team special projects within or across other teams.
Participates in the integration, testing, and implementation of payroll system, enhancements, interfaces, and updates.
Functions as a bridge between payroll operations and technical team for any system enhancements.
Analyzes, prepares, and inputs payroll data through our payroll software to produce accurate and timely payrolls.
Ensures compliance with all applicable state and federal wage and hour laws.
Processes involuntary deductions such as levies and garnishments.
Qualifications
Experience managing projects within ExponentHR or similar applications regarding payroll processing, onboarding, performance management or similar applications.
A minimum 5-year client management experience in the payroll industry or HR Solutions.
Understanding of software implementation, preferably payroll processing software. Knowledge of software implementation projects and operational delivery.
Proficiency in presentation skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; including organization and priority action decisions.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Close attention to detail; high degree of accuracy.
Ability to discharge tasks effectively under pressure and proficient in time management.
