As a Compensation Manager at GuideStone, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our enterprise’s compensation strategy, ensuring it aligns with our mission-driven culture and commitment to excellence. You’ll lead the design, implementation, and management of compensation programs that support our employees’ growth and the achievement of our strategic goals. This is a hybrid role with requiring 2 days per week in the office. Our offices at located at 635 & the Dallas North Tollway across from the Galleria Mall.
What You’ll Do:
Design, evaluate, and update strategic compensation programs to align with business goals and ensure market competitiveness.
Collaborate with HR, Talent Acquisition, and department leaders to develop fair and equitable pay practices.
Conduct market analysis and benchmarking using industry surveys to assess compensation trends and maintain competitive salary structures.
Lead the job evaluation and annual salary review process, ensuring accuracy, fairness, and budget compliance.
Administer short- and long-term incentive plans, coordinating with finance and stakeholders for timely payouts.
Analyze compensation data to provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
Ensure compliance with labor laws and assist with compensation-related audits and regulatory reporting.
Serve as a compensation expert, guiding HR and business leaders on pay-related matters and driving special compensation projects.
Develop communication strategies to help employees understand pay decisions and their impact on earnings potential.
What You’ll Need
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (Master’s degree preferred).
8+ years of compensation analysis experience, ideally within a Fortune 500 company or top-tier consulting firm.
Expertise in market pricing, job evaluations, salary structures, and incentive plans.
Proficiency with compensation tools (e.g., PayScale, Radford, CompAnalyst) and advanced Excel skills.
Experience with Workday and survey platforms (e.g., Mercer, WTW) is a strong advantage.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
Strong executive presence with ability to present complex data clearly to senior leadership.
Proven track record managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or similar certification preferred.
Experience in executive or global compensation programs is a plus.
